Michael Eichenberg
8th Degree Black Belt Aiki Ninjutsu/3rd Degree To-Shin Do/1st Degree Aikido
I began my training in martial arts at the age of 10 years old and have continued studying martial arts to the present day. My initial reason for studying martial arts was to learn how to defend myself and to help me develop more confidence and self-esteem.
I have dedicated my adult life to the security and protection of others. I served in the U.S.M.C. as a Security Forces Team Leader as well as an Armed Force Team Member at a Nuclear Facility. I graduated from E.S.I. Bodyguard Academy and served as a protection agent on a Fortune 500 CEO’s protection team. All of my training and experience has led to the curriculum that is taught at Warrior’s Edge Martial Arts.
My family and I moved to the Naperville area in 2001 when I became the head instructor of Quest Martial Arts Naperville. I bought the school four years later and began teaching the art of Aiki Ninjutsu. It has been an honor to dedicate the last 20+ years to serving Naperville residents and helping them live safer lives.
I served as the self-defense tactics instructor to all of the probation officers in DuPage, Kendall and Kane Counties. I also taught my S.A.F.E. (Safety Awareness Fundamental Education) self-defense program at District 203 and 204 High Schools. I was the guest self-defense instructor at Naperville Central High School for 12 years.
My extensive knowledge in self-defense and protection skills led me to create the Warrior Women Empowerment for Life, Escape & Survive and S.A.F.E. programs that we teach here at Warrior’s Edge. It also led to the creation of Banzenkan Aiki Ninjutsu.
In my off time, I enjoy hiking, watching movies, reading books and meditating. I especially love spending time with my wife and our cats!
