FAQ

Things to know about our youth programs.

What is Aiki Ninjutsu?

Aiki Ninjutsu is a martial art based on traditional Samurai and Ninja arts for the modern world. Our focus is on self-defense and self-protection and not sport based training. The art uses strikes, throws, joint locks, ground fighting, historical weapons training, modern weapon defenses and much more. These skills are taught in a way that utilizes your attacker’s energy against them instead of relying on speed and strength to escape your attacker. This makes it the perfect martial art for all ages and sizes.

How Many Classes Can I My Child Attend Each Week?

Our Aiki Ninjutsu Program allows students to come up to 5 days per week. We recommended a minimum of 2 classes per week. All classes are 45 minutes long.

What Are the Hours for Your Classes?

The Aiki Ninjutsu beginner’s program called Skills & Drills is held on Mondays and Tuesdays at 7pm, Wednesdays at 6pm, Thursdays at 5pm and Saturdays at 11am.

How Do I Get Started?

We offer a FREE Week trial. This allows you to experience the classes, curriculum and instructors to make sure we are a good fit for you. There is also a 6-week introductory special. The Skills & Drills special includes up to 5 classes per week, uniform, wooden training sword, patches and online academy for $219.

Do You Have to Sign a Long-Term Contract?

No. Programs are set up to make it simple to leave if a student needs to. Our regular memberships are ongoing until you put in a notice of cancellation. The Aiki Ninjutsu Program requires a 90 day notice of cancellation.

Can Parents Watch?

Yes! We encourage parents to come and watch the classes. This is a good way for parents to understand what we are teaching and what their child should be working on at home.
